Strategies
Short Put
A short put is a bullish single-leg strategy where the seller collects premium and expects the underlying to stay above the strike at expiration. It is often used to generate income or to buy a stock at a lower effective price. Maximum gain is the credit received; risk extends down to the strike price (less premium) if the stock falls to zero.
